Firm controls, built in.
A firm admin can set a custom retention window, whether that is 30 days, 60, or a year, and delete records individually at any time, without a request to anyone. Deleting a lead in the dashboard deletes it, full stop.
There is no tier where retention controls cost extra, and no window we hold data past because a contract says so. The defaults are ours; the timeline is yours.
The one place deleted data briefly persists, and how it ends.
Backups, plainly.
Backups are encrypted with everything else, held on a 30-day rotation, and purged as the rotation turns. So a deletion request completes within 30 days not because we hurry, but because nothing survives past the last backup, and nothing is kept past that line for any reason.
